Are you interested in a career in law? Our Foot Anstey Accelerate Work Experience Programme is open to:

  • 1st year Law undergraduates;
  • 2nd year Law undergraduates who are studying a 4 year degree; and
  • 1st & 2nd year non-law undergraduates who want to gain experience of what it's like to work in a commercial law firm.

What can you expect?

During your time with us you will join one of our legal teams and experience what it is like to work as a lawyer in a commercial law firm. You will also have the opportunity to attend a variety of workshop sessions where you'll find out more about what makes Foot Anstey tick and what we look for in our lawyers of the future.

You will also take part in a recruitment workshop where we will help you to develop key skills such as CV writing, interviewing, and presenting, which will help you when you apply for Training Contracts.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those who want to activate their career in law and want to find out what it's like to be a commercial lawyer.    

When and where will the programme take place?

We will be hosting up to 10 students across our Bristol, Exeter and Southampton offices from 22 August 2022 to 25 August 2022.

Your personal data will be retained by Controller for whichever is the shorter of the following two options: i) a period of up to 365 days or ii) as long as Controller determines it is necessary to evaluate your application for employment.  You can choose to allow the Controller to retain your data beyond this time frame if you opt-in to a longer retention period.
