Our Corporate team has enjoyed significant growth and success in recent years and we expect for this to continue for the foreseeable future. In order to keep up with client demand and further build our client base, we are looking for a Senior Corporate Lawyer to join the team in Southampton, with a blend of home and office working available based around client need.  Our opportunity is the ideal platform for someone who has already developed effective relationships with accountants and referral networks in the region working predominantly with entrepreneurial private companies as this will be the main focus of the role, whilst also supporting the wider Corporate team. 

What you'll do  
As a key senior hire into our busy Southampton office, you will be central to the continued success of the Corporate team, managing your own caseload and driving business development initiatives. You are already strongly connected with key referrers and networks in the South Coast region, with a profile which reflects your work with entrepreneurial private businesses. Day to day, you will take a solutions led approach, listening to the clients' challenges and understanding their businesses in order to provide tailored advice and bespoke, premium solutions. You will be involved in a wide range of work, including M&A, disposals, MBOs, JVs and investment agreements. Benefiting from the support of a highly regarded and collegiate team, you will be involved in the recruitment, development and supervision of junior team members over time, and have considerable opportunity to shape your practice with a focus on the region. 

What we're looking for
With at least 8 years PQE, you are already a high performing Corporate Lawyer. You will be wholly committed to delivering an exceptional client experience in every interaction, and take pride in understanding your client's needs, challenges and expectations. In doing this, you consistently deliver timely and appropriate, personalised advice and support in order to meet their needs, forging strong ongoing relationships in the process. You are accustomed to working with independence and are also be proactive in seeking support from colleagues when needed, as teamwork is important to us with geography being no barrier to our team integration and work sharing. You will have access to a large number of paralegals, and junior lawyers to senior associates to enable you to focus on the key areas of transactions and business development. You will be ambitious to take the new step in your career in a buoyant and thriving Corporate team where you can further strengthen your profile, working with high quality clients on a wide variety of deals.
