We are currently looking for a Conveyancer to join our New Homes team based in Taunton. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced and dynamic team. Our New Homes team are a specialist team who provide individuals with a first-class service in their new build plot purchase. The team work with many major developers across many sites and also have experience with shared ownership transactions.

What you will do
As a Conveyancer you will take ownership of your own caseload which will consist of new build purchase matters and their related sales if applicable. It will be your responsibility to manage matters throughout the span of their lifecycle, and undertake and oversee such tasks as reporting to Lenders, reviewing key documentation and resolving client Due diligence issues.
You will drive forward each transaction, understanding each client's specific requirements and acknowledging the intricacies of their instructions.
As well as working closely with unit leaders and other colleagues, you will be liaising with Developers, Housing Associations and other Stakeholders throughout the life of the transactions.
You will be working closely with a dedicated Conveyancing Assistant or Legal Administrator to guarantee a first-class service is provided, as well as Ensuring all appropriate quality service and compliance for all matters are met.

It is essential that you have prior experience of working property transactions and have experience handling a busy caseload. Concise and effective written and verbal communication skills are needed together with great attention to detail, including the capability to develop and maintain strong client relationships. You will need to be able to tackle issues and problems in a logical, step by step way with an eye for detail and have the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
About the team
Our Conveyancing Services team spans a multitude of different specialisms. Each team have specific levels of support and technical experience, and each of our Conveyancers take ownership of their caseloads, assisting their clients through the drafting of relevant documents and ensuring compliance to enable housing transactions to go through smoothly – we really strive to get to know our clients and take the responsibility of our instructions seriously. But don't worry, not only do you get to feel that you're really making a difference individually to your clients and our business, you will have the backing of a 50 employee + size team to help you along the way.
We are an accredited member of the Conveyancing Quality Scheme and have been appointed to over 60 of the major UK lending panels. Our continued success has led to us receiving accolades such as the best firm in our region at the ESTA Conveyancing awards 2019.
