If so, this could be the perfect role for you. We are looking for an apprentice legal administrator to join our Private Client team in our Southampton office whilst undertaking an apprenticeship with Kiwi Education. Whilst we cannot guarantee a permanent role at the end of the apprenticeship, our intention is that this would lead towards a career at Foot Anstey as a legal secretary.

Your duties will include:
- Organising travel and meetings
- Assisting lawyers with managing monthly billing procedures, cash collection and credit control processes
- Dealing with all file management tasks to ensure full compliance with Foot Anstey practices and procedures
- All ad hoc administration duties such as filing, scanning and photocopying
- Producing and amending letters/documents/spreadsheets/presentations
- Opening and closing files and ensuring all necessary processes are followed
- Managing diaries
Desired skills
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and manage competing priorities.
- A highly flexible approach and the capability to work well and flourish within a team environment.
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- The ability to be creative, spot opportunities and contribute new ideas to the team.
- Good IT skills including: Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Personal qualities
- Confidence to engage with people of all levels across the business and not just within the team.
- An interest in law.
- A willingness to learn.
Desired qualifications
- A minimum of 5 GCSE passes at Grade C/4 and above to include maths and English
Future Prospects
We cannot guarantee that there will be a permanent position at the end of the 18 month apprenticeship, however we hope to be able to offer our apprentices opportunities to further develop their skills and progress their career as a legal secretary within the business.
Salary:
£15,000 per year. The hours of this role are 09:00 – 17.15 Monday to Friday.
