Foot Anstey bolsters Developer sector team with new Partner hire

Foot Anstey is strengthening its team with the hire of Tim Wheen as Partner to its Developer sector team. Tim joined from SJS Law on 19 April 2021.

Tim Wheen is an experienced property lawyer dealing primarily with site acquisitions, site assembly and property development work. His experience covers the full spectrum of development and commercial property matters and he is well-known for the extensive work that he has carried out in the developer sector.

Foot Anstey's 40-strong Developer sector team, led by Patrick Wetherall, acts for housebuilders, commercial developers, registered providers and land promoters and has an enviable track record in large scale development, redevelopment and regeneration projects.

Tim will be part of the firm's Real Estate practice group, led by board member Martin Hirst, which advises on residential development, property portfolios, transactional commercial work, commercial landlord and tenant and property finance and now comprises 120 people.

Tim will be based from Foot Anstey's offices in the White Building in Southampton. The firm has grown its South Coast base quickly since opening the office in 2016 and now employs 65 people from the location.
