We focus on advising trustees and employers operating or participating in final salary pension schemes. In the current economic climate, a great deal of our advice relates to managing the costs and risks associated with final salary pension schemes and helping trustees and employers deal with increasingly complicated regulatory and legislative requirements.

Our recent expertise includes advising on changes to and closure of final salary pension schemes, implementing a pension scheme merger, implementing security to reduce the Pension Protection Fund levy, advising on public sector pension schemes (including transfers from the public sector) and advising on pensions disputes and high court litigation. We also advise on pensions issues on sales and acquisitions and have experience negotiating with the Pensions Regulator.
