Supporting International Disaster Relief Charity

ShelterBox Trust is an international disaster aid relief charity that delivers emergency shelter, warmth and dignity to people affected by disasters worldwide. It has 18 international affiliates. We clarified ownership of the “ShelterBox” name, negotiated settlement agreements and put in place licence agreements where necessary.

We support the Trust with its trademark strategy, liaising with international agents across the globe, and have also advised in relation to the design rights that exist in the tents that are being provided as part of the ShelterBox relief effort. Furthermore, we advised on various other commercial arrangements and seconded one of our team to this charity for six months. We continue to work closely with ShelterBox, assisting with various issues arising as a result of its rapid growth in the past few years.
