Family Finance Unit
Our Family Finance Team advises individuals who need tailored advice about the effect of matrimonial and cohabitation law on their lives. In addition our high worth team looks after clients who have substantial assets, or where there are more complex issues surrounding the division of assets.
We regularly advise on the following:

- The effect of divorce and separation on business people (particularly where a couple are in business together)
- Tax implications of divorce
- Assets in foreign jurisdictions
- Trusts in divorce
- Farming cases
- Complex pension sharing issues
- Child maintenance and school fee disputes
We work closely with other professionals; property valuers, accountants, actuaries and financial advisors all may have a part to play in resolving your financial issues with your spouse or partner.
Our approach is always to “see the wood for the trees”; a problem-solving and practical approach is what you can expect from us.
