Jane is the firm’s senior partner with special responsibility for client relations and new business.
Jane was managing partner between 1997 and 2008 and will continue to work with the current managing partner, John Westwell on the future development of the partnership.
As managing partner Jane has overseen a strategy which has seen the firm’s geographical expansion rooted in and focused in the south west, providing cost effective, quality services to businesses, charities, public sector organisations and individuals.
Jane’s contribution has been recognised by The Lawyer magazine which selected her for its Hall of Fame and Hot 100 list in 2008.
Jane has also fulfilled a number of influential roles in the south west community; most recently having been a Director of the Theatre Royal Plymouth, Governor of the University of Plymouth and Vice Chairman of Plymouth Hospitals Trust. Jane is very proud to have been the first woman president of Plymouth Law Society in 1993/4.
