Michelle is an experienced clinical negligence associate who deals with all aspects of cases against hospital trusts, GPs and other private healthcare providers. She has worked in clinical negligence since qualification in 2001. Michelle studied law at the University for the West of England and completed her LPC there. She trained and worked in a North Devon firm before joining Foot Anstey in 2003. Michelle was promoted to associate in 2010.
Michelle is a member of the SRA’s Clinical Negligence Accreditation Scheme and a senior litigator of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. She is also a member of the Action Against Medical Accidents.
Michelle has a specialist interest in gynaecology cases, delay in diagnosis of cancer and claims for infant children. She also successfully represented a group of ladies against Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust following a failure to implant the correct hip replacement. She secured settlement for the ladies in considerable sums, along with a formal apology from the Trust.
