Michael Halsey is an associate in the employment team.
Michael advises on all aspects of employment law including outsourcing, TUPE, discrimination, unfair dismissal, disciplinaries, grievances and dismissals. He has experience of acting for both large and small employers in the private and public sector, including local authorities, financial institutions in the City of London, further education colleges, charities, top 10 law firms and utility companies.
He has a particular expertise in dealing with the employment aspects of outsourcing agreements (recently advising on a major Shariah compliant financial outsourcing deal) and internal disciplinary and grievance matters. Michael has advocacy experience in the employment tribunal.
Michael has specialised in employment law since qualification in 2000. Before joining Foot Anstey in November 2008 he worked for City firm Stephenson Harwood.
