Katie is a trainee solicitor in the clinical negligence team. Here, Katie works on a wide range of clinical negligence claims on behalf of claimants against NHS Trusts, GPs and other private healthcare providers. She has experience in assisted with a number of high value matters involving serious birth injury.
In a healthcare context, Katie has also been involved in high profile group litigation matters.
Prior to this, Katie has completed seats as members of both the commercial real estate and dispute resolution teams.
Katie read law at the University of Nottingham. After graduating in 2007, Katie went on to complete her legal studies at Nottingham law School gaining a distinction.
Katie has previously held committee positions on the Devon & Somerset Law Society and is currently Communications Secretary for the Plymouth Junior Lawyers Division.
