Jonathan is an associate in Foot Anstey’s financial and commercial disputes team.
Jonathan advises on all types of financial and commercial disputes. This typically includes shareholder or partnership disputes, professional negligence and breach of contract. He has particular expertise in the fields of financial services and pensions.
Examples of Jonathan’s experience include:
- Acting for banks in relation to business recoveries and professional negligence.
- Acting on behalf of finance houses under asset purchase, hire-purchase, professional loan and lease agreements (including Consumer Credit Act work).
- Advising sponsoring employers and trustees of final salary pension schemes on professional negligence, funding risks and Ombudsman complaints.
- Advising FSA regulated firms on insurance coverage, commission clawbacks, mis-selling, shareholder or partnership disputes and Ombudsman complaints.
- Obtaining search orders and prohibitory injunctions regarding breaches of confidentiality and restrictive covenants.
