Matthew Huddleson

Matthew is an Associate specialising in UK employment law.

 

He has particular interest and expertise in working with technology, engineering and manufacturing companies. He also has a lot of experience working with clients in the transportation and construction sectors.

 

Matthew provides straightforward, decisive advice aimed at identifying solutions to tricky problems. He places great importance on understanding and working in partnership with his clients, and has built up very strong client relationships as a result.

 

Matthew is an experienced employment tribunal advocate with an excellent track record. He has extensive knowledge of the Transfer of Undertakings (TUPE) Regulations and employment aspects of insolvency situations, in relation to which he has conducted successful litigation on a number of occasions. He also has experience of conducting complex and high value discrimination and whistleblowing cases and regularly advises on the employment law aspects of corporate transactions.

He joined Foot Anstey at the beginning of 2007, having trained with international law firm Reed Smith LLP and qualified as a solicitor in 2002.

Matthew is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, writes articles on all aspects of Employment Law and delivers employment law related seminars and training.
